Core / Return Policy

Some pumps are not rebuildable and no core charge will be given towards such pumps. ADS reserves full discretion to determine which pumps units are non-rebuilable. The use of biodiesel and excessive rust are common reasons for non-rebuilable pumps though destroyed pumps are not limited to the these conditions.

In order to receive full core credit, your core(s) must be returned within 20 days from receipt of order. It must be as is “off the engine.” An example of this is not disassembled beyond what is reasonable and ordinary to remove it from the engine. Cores that have been in a fire or damage as a result of an accident, abuse, misuse, or neglect will have a reduction in core value. Cores that are damaged during shipment to ADS are the responsibility of the customer and their shipping company.

Please do the following when returning a core   

  • Make sure you have removed all fittings from your old unit
  • Drain all fuel and oil from unit
  • Package cores so that fuel and oil does not escape from the package

NOTE: packages that have fuel or oil residue on the outside of the box during shipping will not be delivered by UPS or the postal service which will cause delays.

  • Use packing material or newspaper and pack tightly around the core
  • All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer
  • Please write on the box “Core Return”
